Dresser Ideas For Your Home Decor

Do you want a roomy chest of drawers that catches the eye? => Horizontal

This is the most common design and the standard image that comes to mind when thinking of a dresser.

Basically, these chests of drawers extend horizontally and keep the height down. This leaves space to mount a mirror at the top (or on the exposed wall above), making it ideal for dressing. In addition, you have a fairly large table surface for additional storage space, which is ideal for your cosmetics and care products.

The only downside is that horizontal dressers take up a lot of space. They cover almost an entire wall, not to mention the space the drawers take to open.

If you don’t plan the entire arrangement around the dresser, it can be a bit difficult to accommodate them without making your bedroom look cramped.

Little space in your bedroom? => Vertical

If a standard chest of drawers doesn’t fit into your bedroom, consider opting for a vertical chest of drawers.

A vertical dresser, as the name suggests, is a vertical dresser that extends vertically with a single (or at most double) stack of drawers extending upwards. The narrow width makes this chest of drawers fit into confined spaces like a corner of your bedroom.

Note, however, that reducing the length and increasing the height will reduce the available desk space and the ability to attach a mirror. Vertical chests of drawers are therefore only suitable if you already have a wall mirror, ideally next to where you intend to place the chest of drawers.

Do you also need a wardrobe in your dresser? => combination

Normally dressers only consist of drawers. However, sometimes you need a small closet to store things like electronics or photo albums that don’t easily fit in a drawer. While you can always have a separate closet to store these items, opting for a combi dresser might be a better idea.

A combination chest of drawers or men’s chest, as it is sometimes called, is a chest of drawers with both doors and different drawers. Not only does this save space in your bedroom that would otherwise be occupied by another closet, but it also makes for a more efficient setup.
